IAA OISC Level 1: Immigration Training (Previously OISC Level 1)
About Course
Welcome to Foundations of UK immigration law (IAA Level 1). This course is designed for anyone who intends to qualify as an Immigration Authority Adviser IAA Level, or who has an interest in the foundations of the UK immigration system. It covers the IAA Level 1 syllabus, providing an opportunity to explore immigration law, the immigration system and the professional responsibilities of an IAA Level 1 immigration advisor.
The course is divided into 15 units and is around 65 hours of study time. Each unit covers a specific topic area and there are activities to build and consolidate your knowledge and skills. This emphasis on both knowledge and skills gives you an opportunity to develop the knowledge, practical and professional skills required of an IAA Level 1 immigration advisor. Throughout the course there are regular opportunities to practise for both the multiple-choice and scenario-based parts of the IAA Level 1 examination. After every section study some example multiple-choice Question will appear to practice which will be help full for your real exam. And end of the lesson aand practice There is final assignment of mock test, where you can practice and test your ability knowledge of IAA Level 1. Those who wish to become an IAA Level 1 advisor must pass the IAA exam set by IAA.
All teaching material is delivered online. Each unit also has its own learning outcomes: things that you should be able to do after you’ve studied that unit. These learning outcomes provide a more detailed version of the overall course learning outcomes, and also map onto the IAA Level 1 syllabus.
Foundations of UK immigration law (IAA Level 1) is designed for flexible self-study at your own pace. Each unit has a final consolidation section that encourages you to self-assess your progress. The course is around 65 hours of study, but you should work at a pace and level of detail that meets your own needs.
